Two Friends. One Vision. A Legacy in the Making.
The Home Dekor was founded on 15th September 2009 by two school friends, Jai and Rahul, with a modest 1,200-square-foot workspace in Ramgarh Shekhawati, Rajasthan.
Coming from Rajasthan—a land celebrated for its rich art, craftsmanship, culture, and heritage—the founders wanted to build something that would not only create beautiful furniture but also preserve the region's traditional woodworking skills and provide sustainable livelihoods for local artisans. Sadly, Jai passed away, leaving behind not only a deep personal loss but also a shared dream that is now carried forward.
Over the years, The Home Dekor has grown from its humble beginnings into a recognised name in handcrafted wooden furniture, manufactured in Ramgarh Shekhawati and serving customers in India and abroad.
Today, The Home Dekor has two retail stores—one in Jaipur and another in Suratgarh—along with a factory outlet at its manufacturing base in Ramgarh Shekhawati. These locations allow customers to experience our furniture and craftsmanship in person and discover the story behind each piece.
A Woman Leading the Way
Today, the business is jointly led by Neha and Rahul Bishnoi.
Neha Bishnoi is among the pioneering women to lead and manage a furniture manufacturing business in the Shekhawati region. Her journey is an inspiration for women in the region who aspire to step into leadership, entrepreneurship, and traditionally male-dominated industries.
Neha plays an active role across the business, overseeing client relationships, sales, design, and marketing, while working closely with the manufacturing team to bring the company's vision to life.
Her journey is an important part of The Home Dekor's story—demonstrating that women can step forward, lead with confidence, and help build businesses while contributing to their community and preserving its heritage.

Our roots are deeply connected to the Bishnoi community, known for its longstanding respect for nature and the environment. This philosophy influences the way we approach our craft.
We are committed to creating beautiful wooden furniture while being mindful of our natural resources and the environment. At the same time, we work to preserve the art of handcrafted wooden furniture, keeping traditional skills and designs alive for future generations.
From a 1,200-square-foot beginning to two stores, a factory outlet, and a growing presence across India and abroad, our journey has always been about more than furniture.
It is about people, craftsmanship, culture, responsible growth, and keeping the heritage of Rajasthan alive.
