Despite India's growth and development, unemployment remains a challenge, especially in rural areas. Many people still migrate to cities in search of better employment and opportunities for their families.

This was a concern that deeply resonated with The Home Dekor Team. We wanted to create employment opportunities in rural areas so that people could build a livelihood without having to leave their homes.

Creating Employment Through Traditional Craft

Many rural families depend primarily on agriculture, while skilled artisans and carpenters often struggle to find consistent work. As a result, generations-old knowledge of wood carving, furniture making, and traditional craftsmanship is gradually at risk of being lost.

With this vision, The Home Dekor started its production in Ramgarh Shekhawati in 2009.

Ramgarh Shekhawati is known for its rich heritage, talented artisans, and traditional woodworking skills. By establishing our furniture production here, we created employment opportunities for local craftsmen and workers while helping preserve their traditional skills.

Our aim has always been to provide people with dignity through employment, support local artisans and their families, and encourage the younger generation to carry these skills forward.

More Than Just Furniture

For us, The Home Dekor is not simply a furniture business. It is an effort to keep art, craftsmanship, culture, and local employment alive.
